Our "exploring" is carried out by means of quantitative and qualitative research. The quantitative research analyzes the nature, causes and consequences of Christian commitment by correlating information on Christian commitment in Statistics Canada's General Social Surveys, Volunteer Surveys, and National Longitudinal Survey of Children and Youth, with information on commitment to family and community. Scientifically objective studies are conducted for Christian and non-Christian faith communities, and the results are shared with religious and community leaders of all faiths, the social science community, and all who are interested in the results. The research explores new territories of religious commitment, such as the joint commitment of mother, father and child, and the spiritual commitment of native and other children and their parents in the Yukon and Northwest Territories.
Our encouragement of Christian Commitment is accomplished by forming, leading and advocating faith groups designed to meet the needs of the times, by sponsoring the annual faith @ work forums and preparing resources for faith leaders, and by developing a directory of faith groups.
